Size chart for 3x says length is 53 inches, I am 5 foot and 3 inches tall, about where would this hit me in length?

I'm 5'4" and 254lbs, what size dress should I buy?

I would recommend a 1 or 2X. Mainly for the bust. The lower part is billowy so extra hip size can be accommodated.

Will the pockets hold a smartphone?

Yes I havent worn it yet but I believe it does.

Is the white see-through?

Fabric is pretty tightly woven, I wouldn't worry. I also wouldn't wear red or purple underwear, lol! Love the dresses, have three.
